Bridgeport Farms is led by John Bragg who has had a lifelong career training hunters and jumpers on the A circuit. From the Green Hunters to the Grand Prix field, John can be found at every ring of the horse show. He has won numerous year end championships, Horse of the Year awards and tri-colors at Indoors, and has trained winners in every ring from Small Pony Hunters to the Big Eq, Junior and A/O Hunters and Jumpers. With a special talent of finding prospects, Bragg is well known for bringing along young horses to the top levels of the sport. The entire Bridgeport Farms team includes riders with extensive experience in hunters, jumpers and equitation as well as top professional grooms who have cared for horses at every level.

THE OAKS
This iconic Southern California facility is adjacent to the Rancho Mission Viejo Horse Park which host multiple horse shows throughout the year. The amenities are extensive- two arenas that boast all-weather footing and custom jumps, a lunging arena, large box stalls, turnouts, trails, a clubhouse/seating area, and perhaps best of all is the famous grass field peppered with beautiful oak trees that is perfect for hand grazing. This private facility provides a serene and tranquil environment unique to Orange County.
DESERT INTERNATIONAL HORSE PARK
During the winter months, Bridgeport Farms is proud to offer clients a unique experience for the desert circuit. Our private amenities at the facility include permanent stalls, tackroom, office, parking, restrooms, an arena with jumps and grass turnouts that are exclusive to our training program. This allows for a safer, healthier environment for our horses, as well as a more secure and private environment for our clients to relax, ride, and enjoy the quiet space away from the hustle of the horse show.
